Reinspection Services
If you’ve already had an opening protection, wind mitigation, or 4-point inspection completed with Home Inspection Services but have since made changes to your property, you may need to conduct a reinspection. A reinspection allows an Home Inspection Services inspector to review and confirm your post-inspection changes in order to possibly qualify for additional discounts.
Our reinspections include:
- Opening Protection Reinspection: $79.95
- Wind Mitigation Reinspection: $74.95
- 4-Point Reinspection: $84.95
A reinspection is especially helpful if you’ve added new wind-mitigation features, like a roof or storm-safe windows, which may qualify you for discounts or credits. Since you’ve already completed a prior inspection with us, we’ll send an inspector to complete your reinspection at a reduced rate. Once your reinspection is complete, you can send the updated report to your insurance company to apply for a Florida Building Code (FBC) discount on your policy.
To qualify, your reinspection must take place within a year of the initial inspection.
